First day of School, First day of school....

So, all 3 of my children are in school. I have realized (being the horrible mother that I am) I love my kids the more they are gone. EEEEK, sorry folks. We get along much better. Bos is in first grade, Wes is in all day kindergarten, and Livie goes 2 times a week to pre-school. So I have a total of 6 hours a week to myself, I must say it's pretty fantastic! They are all doing well in school, Bos was naughty the first couple of days but his teacher said he is doing much better. Wes didn't have any problems at all, his teacher says she is glad he is in her class and he is a great student. Livie was just happy to be away, I think? She has a 2ND cousin in her class, which makes it fun.
We have had quite a bit of trouble with the school bus this year. The bus schedule said the bus stop was on our street this year, but at the end on the corner of 40Th west!! Last year they had
maybe 3 stops in our neighborhood. I complained immediately.

Anyone in their right mind thinking it was okay for 5 and 6 year olds, any elementary kids really, to wait for te bus there is insane. I emailed the district transportation department, I received a reply the same day, by phone. He explained they moved the bus stop out there because of budgets and our neighborhood only has one outlet and we are right next to Bangerter highway. Guess what dude, I don't care! I pay my taxes! Isn't that where they get the money? Your going to be angry when any of those kids get hit by a car and we blame Granite School District! So I sent my kids to the neighborhood just south of us, we have a walkway from our neighborhood to theirs through a field. It was a much safer place for a stop. Plus we have at least 10 - 15 kids in our little "one outlet" area anyways and they had only 1 stop on the corner of a busy road! In the other neighborhood they had like 3 stops, that's stupid. Well week 3 of school I noticed a bus came into our neighborhood to drop the kids off after school. Thought it was a fluke maybe. Then the next morning I saw some kids waiting for the bus a street over, so I went to check it out, the kids told me they changed the stop! Yeah!! When the bus came I asked the driver "So they decided to change the stop eh?" he replied "yeah, it was kind of forced!" I said to him "you know it's much safer for the kids". He seemed nice about it, I was really excited. I was thinking enough people complained so they had to, good for us. My mom also sent a nasty letter to the district. So now my other issue is they have different buses pick them up and take them home. You really think the young kids will remember 2 different bus numbers? Well my kids have a hard time. Well, they are getting better at remembering, I have told their teachers where they are supposed to go and if they miss their bus they need to go to the office. It's been rough, I have lost them a few times, whether they have taken the wrong bus, or gotten off on the wrong stop (Booth found them one time walking down 40Th west!!!!)and they also have a cousin who lives very close to the school, so I told Bos if he misses the bus to go there, well the little sneak, said he "missed" the bus when he really didn't. So after it had been a hour and they weren't home, I panicked, I called the school, called the cousins mom to see if they were there, she wasn't home to know if they were there. So bawling, I hopped in the car thinking they were wondering trying to find their way home, and their school is by Granger high, we live just off of 40Th west, so Bangerter is between the school and our house!!! I had to leave our house unlocked in case they came while I was gone, called the neighbor to watch the house if they did come home. I was a mess. I drove over to the cousins house and who do I see? My 2 boys waiting for them to come home!!!! I was SOOO angry at them.
So school has been an adventure this year, but they really like it, probably mostly because they get to be away from their CRAZY mother.

kids are funny

We have ben watching Moonwalker lately. Boston said he wants to be like Michael Jackson when he gets big. I tried to explain that he just died. He said "well, he will come alive again on Easter, like Jesus."

Boston's Birthday

Boston turned 6 on April 30Th. It is hard to believe he is that old, then again I sometimes wish they would all just GROW UP. We had a birthday party with some of his cousins on Booth's side last Sunday. Crystal brought her fun blow up stuff for all the grand kids. They had a great time!! It was such a beautiful day to be out in the sun.

Boston and his CRAZY sugar face

School will be done for Wes this week and Bos gets done June 5Th. I am really not excited for them to be home ALL SUMMER!!! But.... I am excited to not have to set my alarm and have to be up and ready at a certain time....sounds lazy, I know. Bos will be in 1st grade next year, Wes is in the all day Kindergarten program and Livie will be in preschool 2 days a week..... I will have 4 hours a week BY MYSELF!!!!! I can't even remember how long that has been? I look forward to the fall. I guess I am going to have to keep them busy outside so I don't go crazy.

Also, Booth and I just celebrated our 8 year anniversary yesterday. We celebrated last month and took a trip to St. George for 4 days. It was really nice to be together. We stayed at a friends house which made it even better. They went on vacation while we were there, so we had the house to ourselves. Really nice!!! We did get to visit with them before they left and we had such a good time. Thanks Mel & Parker!! We went to Vegas for a day, and I was really not as impressed as I would have thought. I did like all the dirty magazines on the street corners though? Seriously, pervs. And I also enjoyed watching all the drunks walking the strip with their HUGE drinks? The thing I enjoyed most was just being with Booth and watching people. We spent the day walking the strip and then got bored so we went to the outlet mall and spent WAY too much money, but it was great. Anyway, Eight years have flown by, I love Booth more now than ever before and I hope it just keeps growing.

Happy Anniversary...Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy....

My mom and dads anniversary Was March 6Th. They celebrated 30 years!!! That is a long time!! I can't imagine when Booth and I hit that mark yet. My sister and my parents friend Sandy and many others helped put a surprise party together. It was at the Murray Eagles. Yes... my very first time at a bar... thank you, thank you. I only went because it was for them. My dad knew about it but mom didn't. It turned out to be quite a stressful day. She kept saying that she wanted to go to the Eagles, but they were setting up and such. So a few of my moms friends were trying to keep her entertained until 6:30 when the party started. She said she had no idea what was going on. We had a nice time. There was lots of good food and LOTS of my parents friends from over the years and some family also. They had karaoke. I said I would only sing if they had "TOP THAT", you know from Teen Witch. Turns out they didn't have it, darn, probably a good thing!! They also put together a video for them. I think it should have been called "Worlds funniest moustaches" dang, my dad had some good ones. We enjoyed the night hanging out and watching everyone. I love them dearly and am very grateful to have such non judgemental, caring, supportive, giving, loving parents. Here is to 30 more great years!! Peace!

That's just mean!

I am such a mean person. After lunch I unhooked the doorbell and I made sure to lock the storm door. You ask why? So my kids don't hear the neighbor boys ring the doorbell and knock. They come over and ask if the boys can play EVERYDAY. I just don't want them to be playing all the time. Plus when my boys go over to their house, they end up running all over the neighborhood which I am NOT okay with. I know it would be better for them to be out playing, but I just want them home? Ah well.

Bos had his tonsil out last Wednesday. It went really well. He only cried after waking up from the anesthesia. He was up and playing the next day. I am glad it went well and hope it will help with not being as sick as he has been lately.

Wes turned 5 on Saturday. So both boys are the same age for 2 months. We went to the safe kids fair with my mom and then we had a b-day party at our house later that night. He got some great stuff. I love after birthdays because they actually play for a few days non stop. I was looking at pictures and Wes was such a chipmunk when he was little. He is so cute and such a sweet kid. I can't believe he is already 5.

With everyone pregnant right now, it makes me baby hungry.... then I have to stop and think about it. My kids are all at great ages. Do I want to do the whole "baby" thing right now? Not so much.

He was about 5 months here

I think this one was when he was a year

This was last August

This is my favorite picture of Wes. It was in October at California Adventure

"The Carlton"

This is by far the best video I found of the infamous Carlton. Of coarse there isn't any music to it because of copyright issues. So I made a new playlist special for it. No matter how many times I see it, I laugh EVERY time. Please Enjoy!!!!!

my update

So this is what I have been up to lately. Not much. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. If you haven't seen it, DO IT NOW!!! So funny.
I am officially a stay at home mom. I quit Albertsons, I am so glad.
Boston was really sick a few weeks ago. So I finally took him to a ear, nose, throat specialist and he said he needs his tonsils out. His tonsils have always been large. And when he gets sick he gets REALLY sick. So I take him to the doctor and they always tell me he just has a virus?? I think it is going to help to have them out. He gets them out on the 25th.
Since being home I have not been letting the kids watch T.V. for more than an hour each day. It's not going so well, they watch so many movies and T.V., they are having a hard time keeping busy. Big mistake letting the T.V. do my babysitting.
Wes will turn 5 on the 28th. All they want right now is candy and toys and think they need to have one EVERY time we go to the store. My bad again, I will get them a Hot Wheels car or doughnut or fruit snacks if they are good at the store. I guess that is bad. We have had some BIG tantrums recently. I have to get really strict I guess. Anyways, I am excited for Wes. He is so excited for Kindergarten. He is such a lovey boy. Now that I have told all of you how bad of a mom I am, you have your update.

UPDATE

Olivia turned 3 on November 23rd. She had a fun day!! I can't believe she is already 3. And........ she is potty trained!!!! This is the first time I haven't had to buy diapers in 5 1/2 years people. Well she still wears pull ups at night but that doesn't count right? I am so proud. We have had a few christmas parties. The kids are driving me crazy once again about Christmas. Asking all the time, mom is it christmas today? mom, is is christmas tomorrow?, mom, how many more days until christmas? arrr. I am ready for it to be over with.

Our new additions

This is daddy looking at the pups from outside. He sits there quite a bit.

Dracula, Bumblebee and Blanch

I think, Blanch

This was the day after they were born. They are getting really chubby. They are growing so fast, I am excited for when we can play with them.

So Page had her pups on November 2nd. It was neat to see her go through it all. Well not all of it, we missed all but 1 being born!! They are so cute. We have 4 pups, 2 males and 2 females. They all have names. Livie's is the white one she named it Dracula, Boston's is named Bumblebee, like the transformer. Westons in named Dinosaur/Star Wars and my little runt of the litter is named Blanch. They are just now starting to open their eyes. We are going to be selling them, as much as I would like to keep them because I am getting really attached. They are pure bred miniature Schnauzers. They have already been registered with AKC, have had their tails docked and dew claws done. We think the other 3 pups will turn out silver like the dad. They are such fun dogs, the size of mini-Schnauzers is 11 - 15 lbs. They will be ready about Christmas time!! No better gift than a puppy!! Anyways... anyone interested send me a e-mail.

3 crazy kids

Not a Halloween picture but she was playing dress up at grandma Wendy's and put almost the whole box of stuff on. It was funny.

Cute Auntie Queen of Hearts

Halloween was better this year. Boston actually wore his costume, but only on Halloween. Bos was a robot, Wes was Batman and Livie was a Dinosaur. Wes loves costumes, he still wears his costume from last year. He will just wander around the house in them. We went to my grandmas work to trick or treat, they had lots of fun there. We went to my moms on Halloween night, went around the neighborhood and had homemade Chili. They loved getting the candy but as the boys are getting older they do the whole, I have more, or I get to go out of the car first, or I get the brown chair, or I'm bigger, constantly a contest.

California

We got really used to 3D glasses. I think I got pics in all the different pairs we had to wear.

My favorite thing at Sea World

They were tired of walking and would fight over the stroller. Bos would say, my legs are bending too much mom.

Man he loved that Dragon. It lasted 2 days

I need these cages at home
Bos thinks he's pretty funny.

Their favorite character they met the whole trip, Shaggy was kinda gnarly

We went to California October 9 - 19th. We had such a great time. We went to Disneyland, California Adventure, Six Flags, Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, Universal Studios and to Newport Beach. I am posting lots of pictures, just a warning. We havent really been up to much lately. The kids are excited to go trick or treating. I will post those pics later.
